Dancin’ with the dead
Imagine a large arena, with thousands of seats surrounding the floor.
On the floor, there is a great sized crowd dancing to the band, led by an overweight guy on guitar with glasses and a beard.
Furthermore, nothing is stopping anyone in the seating area from going on to the floor and joining the dance and likewise the people on the floor can go and take a seat.
I imagine the conversations taking place on the web are the people who are dancing.
Many of us both take seats and listen and sometimes get up and dance.
The problem with many traditional media companies is that they are seated too high up to see how much fun and how much better the sound is on the floor.
Occasionally, they move to a lower seat and even stand on the floor to listen but they rarely join the dancing.
It’s general admission folks. Get yourself a better seat. In fact, get up and dance, at least for some of the show.
The fat man rocks!
